Stephen Curry and LeBron James Led Team USA to a 98-87 Win Over Host Nation France
As expected, the United States men's basketball team defeated Victor Wembanyama and France to win the gold medal at the Paris Olympics. Stephen Curry and LeBron James led the way for Team USA, with Curry scoring 29 points and James adding 23.
The United States trailed by 13 points in the third quarter, but they rallied to take the lead in the fourth quarter. Curry hit a key three-pointer to give Team USA the lead, and James made a layup to seal the victory.
"Our defense came alive in the second half," Curry said after the game. "We were able to get stops when we needed them, and that was the difference in the game."
